The easiest way to travel to Hvar is via the various travel agencies in Europe. They offer package holidays or just flights to the Airport of Split, including the transfer to the island. On account of the very good service, we recommend or inexpensive also Germanwings. If you travel by car, take the motorway to Split that is still under work but will be finished by 2004.
